Day 11: Saturday, October 01, 2022 - Alexandria, VA, and travel

We awoke in Alexandria, VA. The focus of the day was really Hazel's third birthday.
Essentially our trip was over, we just worked stopping by the kids' house at the end to coincide with the small birthday party.
While there ARE pictures from said party, they will NOT be posted here.
On our last leg of the journey home, we stopped at Lidl to get groceries - primarily perishables.
We were home and had the car unpacked before 8:00 PM.
This is one of the last "long" roadtrips we'll be making wherein we leave from home and drive somewhere.
Future trips - especially to the capitols - will be flying out, renting a car, visiting cities, and flying back.
