Linda had to work at the church so I dropped her off in the morning.
While she worked the day, I went home and finished packing and doing the things to prep the house for the trip.
At 1:35, I left to pick her up - luggage in the car - and headed out.
I got to church early, and Linda was a little late - so I waited almost a half hour for her to get in the car.
Eventually she was done, and we started our travel. After a brief stop at Lowe's to pick up a drawer front for our
bathroom vanity, we hopped on the highway.
A bit after 5:00 - [we think] we hit the beginning of rush hour traffic - we were at the kids' house in Alexandria.
We spend the end of the afternoon and early evening playing with the grandkids, having dinner, and trying to relax a bit.
