Road Trip: South - i95 trip

Day 4: Sunday, November 13, 2011 - Sanford, FL

After showering, we had a great full breakfast.  Egg disks (sort of like pancakes, but rather made with, well, egg), sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, waffles, reheatable French toast, bagels, muffins, and more.

It wasn't much after 9:00 so we tried to go to the mall, but it was Sunday and it wasn't open yet.  We visited a store called Bealls - however, it is pronounced "Bells".  Anyway, did a little walking around to kill time and then got underway.

This day we were heading toward our aunt and uncle's house in New Port Richie.  However, unbeknownst to Linda at the time, beforehand we were heading to a Tampa Bay Buccenears' football game!  But before that, we were heading toward a stop called the Taco Bus for lunch.  There outdoor seating to the side and behind the bus and more inside further behind the bus.

This is the mobile version of the Taco Bus.

The food. Was. Excellent.  It was a place that we learned about from Adam Richmond on a TV show called Man vs. Food.  I had the carne asada burrito, while Linda had the pork taco.

We were stuck in the sun for the ball game.  The Bucs lost. :-(  The stadium is called Raymond James Stadium.

The first play of the game from scrimmage, Houston scored a touchdown.  They led from that point on - which I guess means they led for the entire game.

I was TOLD to take some pictures of the cheerleaders.  So I obliged.  :-)  They were wearing military embelished outfits in honor of Veterans and Veteran's Day.

For some reason, this cheerleader had a lot of cups nearby...

The stadium was on the outskirts of the city of Tampa.

After the game we went to the aunt & uncle's house.  We talked, enjoyed some homemade lasagna, talked some more, had some cake, then talked some more - just catching up.  Late that night, we headed back to Sanford.
